The School Rules of the Centre are valid from 1.9.2019
2. Provisions
The school rules regulate mutual relations among children, legal guardians, and educators during the educational process. The school rules are prepared in accordance with Section 30, paragraphs 1 and 3 of Act No. 561/2004 Coll., on Preschool, Basic, Secondary, Higher Vocational, and Other Education (Education Act).

3. Fundamental Rights All children have rights guaranteed by the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms and the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Right to equal access to education without discrimination based on race, color, gender, language, belief and religion, nationality, ethnic or social origin, or health status.
Right to have educational needs respected, along with mutual respect, solidarity, and understanding.
Right to protection – to a physically and mentally safe environment (basic human needs, medical assistance, protection from people and situations that could endanger their mental or physical health).
Right to an emotionally positive environment – to express and experience emotions.
Right to quality preschool education.
Right to express personal opinions, listen to others' opinions, and seek solutions.
Right to participate in creating and respecting shared rules of coexistence.
Right not to be disturbed and, in turn, not disturb others; respect the interests and need for peace of others while being respected as an individual with opportunities for personal development and identity confirmation.
4. Children's Duties
Have basic self-care habits: eat independently with a spoon, drink from a cup, be diaper-free, and be able to communicate about the need to use the bathroom.
Follow the instructions of educators aimed at ensuring safety, health protection, dignity, and the rights of everyone in the school, including their own.
Not disturb others, respect their interests, and need for calm.
Not cause physical or psychological harm.
5. Legal Guardians' Rights • To be informed about the content of education and the progress and results of children's education.
• To consult upbringing and other concerns regarding their child with the center's educator or the director of the educational center, to the mutual satisfaction of both parties.
• To confidentiality and protection of information related to personal and family life.
• To contribute ideas and suggestions to enrich the center's educational program.
• To visit classes upon agreement with the director.
• To request individual adjustments to the rules outlined in the center's regulations, if operationally feasible.
6. Legal Guardians' Duties• To ensure safe conditions for handing over and picking up the child (see point 9).
• To use the Twigsee application and monitor information provided in Twigsee – the main communication channel.
• To complete, sign, and update (in case of changes) the child's registration form.
• To use and monitor information in Twigsee as the center's main information channel.
• To bring their children dressed appropriately and cleanly, ensuring spare clothes are available in the wardrobe, and regularly replenish and replace them.
• To ensure the child does not bring dangerous items to the educational center.
• In case of damage to the educational center's property, legal guardians are obliged to discuss repair or compensation for the damage with the center's director.
• To report the child's absence.
• To bring only a completely healthy child to the educational center.
• To respect the center educator's decision not to admit a child with a severe cold or an infectious disease, in the interest of preserving the health of others.
• After recovery from a serious infectious disease (e.g., hepatitis, salmonella, etc.), to bring the child only after a doctor decides that the child can rejoin the group.
• To pay fees for the ordered services on time.
• To observe rules of politeness and mutual respect during interactions with educators and staff, other children attending the educational center, and other legal guardians.
7. Enrolling and Ending a Child's Education at the Educational CenterEnrollment
• Enrollment into the educational center is conducted according to capacity throughout the school year.
• Children already enrolled in the center have priority enrollment rights for the following school year. This priority enrollment takes place from February to March. If the legal guardian does not take advantage of this priority enrollment during this period, the center may offer available places to other applicants.
• Admission to preschool education is conducted online in the Twigsee application, where the legal guardian completes an online application. If the center approves the application, the legal guardian finalizes the binding enrollment by paying the registration fee and the tuition for the first month of attendance. Both payments are non-refundable in case of a later cancellation of attendance.

• No later than at the beginning of attendance, the legal guardian must sign the child's registration form and provide a certificate from the child's pediatrician confirming the child is fit to attend and properly vaccinated (the vaccination confirmation does not apply to the last year of preschool attendance).
Termination• The Salomon Family Preschool – Standard Attendance Program begins on 1st September and ends on 30th June.
The legal guardian has the right to terminate attendance before the end of the school year according to the conditions of the enrolled program.
• If necessary, Standard attendance can be terminated during the school year with a 2-month notice period, which begins on the 1st day of the month following the month in which the notice was sent.
• Flexi Attendance requires no notice and ends at the booked period.
• The individual conditions of attendance are specified in the Price List (website, Twigsee, or the center facility).
The director may decide to terminate a child's education at the educational center if:
• The legal guardian fails to pay the ordered services even after being reminded.
• The legal guardian repeatedly and seriously disrupts the operation of the educational center.
• The child's behavior significantly endangers themselves, other children, or the center's staff.
• The legal guardian concealed essential information about the child's health condition or if new circumstances regarding their condition arise that significantly affect the educational process.
8. Implementation of Distance Learning• In case of the center's closure due to extraordinary reasons lasting more than 5 working days, the director of the center will arrange with legal guardians the form of distance learning, typically online lessons, and the distribution of preschool preparation materials for individual study.
9. Clarification of Conditions for Handing Over and Picking Up Children from the Educational Center• Legal guardians must personally hand over the child to the center during the designated arrival time.
• Legal guardians or their authorized persons must personally pick up the child from the center's wardrobe or garden.
• If an individual schedule for the child's stay in the center has been agreed upon, the specific arrangements for pick-up will also be negotiated.
• Legal guardians may authorize another person to hand over or pick up the child during educational center activities. This person must be listed in the Twigsee application.
• Legal guardians may authorize a minor (older sibling) to pick up the child. Written consent from the legal guardian is required to authorize handing over to a minor. According to the Civil Code, Section 9 – "Minors have legal capacity only for acts appropriate to the intellectual and volitional maturity corresponding to their age."
10. Method of informing legal guardians about the program and activities of the educational center• Legal guardians are informed about all events and operations of the center through the Twigsee application, where necessary operational information is provided: school year organization, tuition fees, school, and operational regulations.
• At the start of the school year, the director invites legal guardians for a visit to the educational center, where they are informed about the educational processes and operational matters of the center.
• Legal guardians can arrange an individual meeting with the director or educators to discuss matters concerning the child's education.
• Educators are available to provide information regarding the child's behavior daily from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM during playroom time. Legal guardians can use this time to observe how their child integrates into the group.
• Legal guardians are obliged to attend meetings with the center's director if invited to discuss important matters regarding the child's education or breaches of the center's operations.
• The educational center may organize recreational stays in nature, school trips, and other activities related to the educational process. Legal guardians are informed about such events well in advance.
11. Specific methods for legal guardians to excuse children from daily education and report on their health condition• If the legal guardian is aware in advance of the child's absence from education at the educational center, they must notify the center through the Twigsee application. They should note the reason for absence and, in the case of infectious diseases, provide relevant information.
• The legal guardian is obliged to report any health difficulties of the child at drop-off that could affect the educational process. A child showing signs of illness cannot be admitted to the group to protect the health of others. If the child shows signs of illness during the day, the legal guardian will be informed and asked to pick up the child as soon as possible.
12. Determination of conditions for payment of preschool tuition and meal fees at the educational center• Tuition fees are contractual and determined according to the enrolled program. The same amount is charged each month, regardless of the child's actual attendance.
• The organization of the school year, including holidays, breaks, and public holidays, is available in the Twigsee application and on the center's notice board.
• Pre-booked days cannot be freely exchanged or replaced, even in the case of illness or vacation. Tuition fees must be paid even for periods when the child is absent due to illness or other long-term reasons.
• The legal guardian commits to paying the contractually agreed tuition fee by the 20th day of the month for the following month. The payment notice will be sent to the legal guardian via the Twigsee application and email.
• The tuition for preschool education is paid to the account of Salomon Family, o.p.s., account number: 224026525/0300, with the child's variable symbol included.
• An advance payment for meals is collected in cash for 2 months, as instructed in the Twigsee application. The amount for timely canceled lunches will be credited towards the payment for the following month.
• Lunches must be canceled one day in advance by 1:00 PM in the Twigsee application. If the cancellation is not possible, lunches can be collected in a provided container from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the educational center.
• In the event of the center's closure for extraordinary reasons beyond the agreed-upon days, legal guardians are entitled to a refund of part of the tuition fee, according to the conditions listed in the Standard and Flexi attendance price list. The price list is available in the Twigsee application.
13. Operation and Internal Rules of the Educational Center
• Children are accepted into the educational center from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM.
• The departure time for children with morning attendance is between 12:30 PM and 1:00 PM.
• Afternoon departure is between 3:00 PM and 5:30 PM. Staff members are responsible for children from the moment they are handed over by legal guardians or their appointed persons until they are handed back to them.
• The legal guardian is required to pick up the child and leave the educational center premises by the end of the school day at 5:30 PM.
• The educational center is not responsible for valuables or toys brought by children.
• The private children's playground is intended for the center's children during its operational hours and only in the presence of the center's educator. It is not open to the public.
• These and other matters are regulated in the Operational Rules.
14. Educational Program
• Preschool education at Salomon Family Preschool follows its own School Educational Program within a basic daily schedule.
• It is the responsibility of the educator(s) to adapt the daily schedule flexibly to the current needs of the children. The schedule may be adjusted in case of events organized by the educational center.
• We respect the child's right to their own activities.
• Extracurricular activities are usually conducted in the afternoon and are paid separately to the individual educators of the activity.
15. Individual Education for Preschoolers
• Legal guardians are required to ensure that the year a child turns 5 years old by August 31st, and is subject to mandatory preschool attendance in the following school year, the child is enrolled in a kindergarten registered in the registry of schools and school facilities. They must also request an individual form of education, allowing the child to continue attending our center.
• Upon the school's request, they must attend an assessment with the child who has been approved for individual education to verify knowledge at the school where this form of education was registered.
16. Processing of Personal Data (GDPR)
1. The Salomon Family Educational Center, o.p.s., processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR) and other relevant legal regulations.2. Personal data of legal guardians and children are processed for the purpose of:
- Ensuring proper training and other administrative and operational requirements
- Communication between the centre and legal guardians via the Twigsee app
- Fulfilment of the Centre's legal obligations
3. Consent to data processing:
- Consents of legal guardians to the processing of personal data and consents to the acquisition and publication of photo or video documentation are collected and managed via the Twigsee app, and or other social media channels.
- Legal guardians can ask for deleting any photos or video materials.
- Legal representatives have the opportunity to inspect, correct, or restrict the processing of their
data through the app or by contacting the director of the centre
4. Data security: All personal data is secured and protected from unauthorized access
5. Rights of data subjects:
- Right of access to personal data
- Right to rectification of inaccurate data
- Right to erasure (right to be forgotten) when the data is no longer needed
- Right to data portability
- the right to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection
6. Disposal of retained data: After the expiration of the retention period or when the reason for processing ceases to exist, the data is securely destroyed.
